A. We support the following popular image and standard or HD video formats: JPG, AVI, MOV, MPG, MPG1, MPG2, and WMV. If your video camera uses a different format, you can convert your videos to one of the supported formats using a video converter. If this is necessary, we recommend and offer support for ImTOO Video Converter Standard which you can download and purchase for about $39.00 at http://www.imtoo.com/video-converter.html.
A. Still images must be smaller than 10 MB each. They will be automatically re-sized to 800x600 pixels. Videos must be less than 15 seconds each and smaller than 50 MB each. The smaller your images and videos are, the quicker and easier it is to upload them. The ImTOO Video Converter Standard is also a great tool to reduce the size of your videos if needed.
A. Some cameras have a panoramic setting and wide angle lens that allow you to create panoramas. You can also create panoramic images by taking a series of still images and then stitching them together using a stitching software. Many of our customers find that panoramic images are not necessary because a video is just as good if not better. However, if you want to create panoramic images by stitching still images, we recommend and offer support for Panorama Factory which you can download and purchase for about $79.95 at http://panoramafactory.com/download.html. There is also a video tutorial in our help section once you are logged in that explains in detail how to create 360° or 180° panoramic images.
A. Yes. You can hire your own photographer, or you can select one from our Tour Provider Network. If you are interested in registering with us as a tour provider, click here.
A. As an authorized picturepath partner, we can submit your tours to Realtor.com as long as your listing is already on Realtor.com. After each tour is created, you will have the option to submit the tour to Realtor.com. If your listing is a showcase listing, we can submit your tour for FREE.
A. Your MLS system should provide a location for a virtual tour link when entering or editing a listing. You can copy and paste the appropriate virtual tour link provided by RealtyTours.comTM into the designated location in your MLS system.
A. After creating a virtual tour using RealtyTours.comTM you will be provided with a virtual tour link. You can take this link and add it to your website anywhere you like. If your website is administered by a webmaster you will simply need to give the virtual tour link to your webmaster and ask them to post it on your website.
A. There a many websites such as Facebook.com, Twitter.com, and Myspace.com where you can post a link to a virtual tour to give your tour additional exposure. After creating a virtual tour using RealtyTours.comTM you will be provided with a virtual tour link. You can then take this link and post it on a social networking, or any other website of your choice.
A. The tour product is exactly the same for all account types. The only difference is in how you pay for the tours and the number of tours you can have active at any given time. On Pay Per Tour accounts, you can purchase as many tour credits as you like.
